This type of perforator is the type used on early Arvors. The unit has two controls, one to determine the time space between punching (hence "frequency") and "power", which is the force with which the punches are powered. The unit is not sensitive to the machines functions in any way so if a machinery parameter is changed for instance cycle speed then the perforator controls must also be reset.
